Hasyim's education and background includes a bachelor's degree from California State University of San Francisco. He participates in ongoing, advanced formal instruction and education in tax, accounting and accounting information systems.

Hasyim's Professional Affiliates include membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
